Row Crop/Produce Farm Insurance
Whether you are farming thousands of acres of row crops, growing a few tomatoes to sell in a road-side stand, or anything in between, we can assist you in properly insuring the property and liability risks associated with your operation. The best coverage and cheapest rates will be found on a consolidated Farmowners Policy, which offers broad and flexible insurance protection, for a discounted price. Our Farmowners policies feature coverage for:

Farm Dwellings
Whether you live on the land you cultivate or in another location, we can insure your home along with the rest of your farm operation. We offer flexible coverage and excellent rates on farm dwellings.
Tractors and Mobile Farm Equipment
Almost every operation has mobile farm machinery. We offer excellent coverage and low rates on tractors and other farm equipment. From small operations with one small tractor to service the premises, to larger farms with hundreds of thousands of dollars of equipment, you could be saving money insuring your machinery with Johnson Insurance. Our rates are the best around!
Farm Products and Supplies
Once crops are harvested and before they are sold, a farmer has a large exposure to a Farm Products loss. After months of toil, the products must be processed, prepared, and sent to market before any money is made. The biggest risk of loss is typically from fire or wind damage from a tornado. Coverage for Farm Products, both on and off-premises, as well as in transit, is available on the Farmowners policy.
Barns, Sheds, and Produce Stands
The Farmowners policy offers discounted rates on barns and other outbuildings. We can offer replacement cost coverage on many buildings, depending on age and condition. Coverage typically includes insurance protection against fire, lightning, wind, hail, and the weight of ice, sleet, and snow. Many other options are also available. Our rates on farm buildings are lower than our competition, call or e-mail today for more information.
Employer's Liability
Many operations employ full or part-time help for farm labor. Even the smallest operation typically hires an extra pair of hands here and there. Many owners do not know that they could be held responsible for an employee’s injuries, even if it is just a part-time employee on a small job. If you use hired help in any capacity at any time, you have an exposure to an employee-injury-lawsuit. We offer an Employer’s Liability endorsement, for an extremely low cost, that protects the grower against liability from employee injuries.
Tenant Dwellings
Many operations have mobile homes or stick-built homes on the property, occupied by family, employees, or other tenants. We can cover these dwellings on the same farm policy as all of the above items, for rates generally lower than our competition.
